Hop on over to these O.C. favorites for a mid-morning munch.

1. Pancakes, bacon and eggs—oh my! The gang’s all here at Balboa Bay Resort’s Easter Sunday buffet brunch. Live music will keep the little ones energized as you sip on Champagne in the seasonally decorated space. 10am-2pm, $86 per adult, $43 per child (ages 4 to 12), Newport Beach, 949.630.4207

2. Through April 8, The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel will play home to five oversize Easter eggs, all hand painted by local artists—from Trevor Mezak, James Galindo and Robin Hiers to Kim de los Reyes and Matt Parker. And after you’ve snapped photos of these whimsical masterpieces, head inside for The Ritz-Carlton’s Egg-ceptional Easter Brunch, where carving stations, traditional breakfast bites, live music and an Easter Bunny appearance will have you celebrating in style. 11am-3pm, $125 per adult, $62.50 per child, Dana Point, 949.240.2000

3. Pull up a seat on the newly-remodeled patio at Fleming’s at Fashion Island for a three-course prix fixe menu with your choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Our order? The housemade burrata salad followed by the signature eggs Benedict with filet mignon and New York cheesecake with fresh berries and chantilly cream to finish. And for those who like options, an a la carte menu will also be on offer. Either way, don’t forget to wash it all down with a Sonoma Sparkler—an elegant passion fruit mimosa sipper that’s a Fleming’s signature. 10am-3pm, $50 per adult, $16 per child (12 and under), Newport Beach, 949.720.9633

4. Across the street, Fashion Island Hotel is cooking up its own morning of fun. The venue’s ballroom will transform into a vibrant Easter wonderland complete with live entertainment, face painting, egg decorating, photos with the Easter Bunny and more. Keep the whole family fueled for all the action with made-to-order crepes, seasonal salads, sweet treats and fare made just for the kiddos. Oh, and did we mention the Easter egg hunt on the front lawn? Happy hunting! 10:30am-1:30pm, $80 per adult, $20 per child (ages 5 to 12), Newport Beach, 949.760.4913

5. Make it a day of shopping and fabulous fare when you book a reservation at South Coast Plaza neighbor Water Grill. Poached salmon rillettes, warm blueberry pancakes with lemon cream, crab Benedict and more will have your taste buds singing. And how about a little sticker courage before all that browsing with a prosecco flight or the WG Bloody Mary with blackened shrimp and thick cut bacon? Cheers! 10am-3pm, prices vary based on selection, Costa Mesa, 949.208.7060
