Welcome to the luxe life—all-star amenities, tranquility and more await you at The Resort at Pelican Hill.

Even in his role as president of Newport Beach-based Waterpointe Custom Homes, no place felt more like home to Garrett Calacci than The Resort at Pelican Hill, where he lived in one of the five-star resort’s 128 villas for six years. Take a look at five perks of calling the Hill your home. Extended-stay rates from $450 per night with minimum 14 nights

1 - RELAX At the Villa pool, “the attendants knew my preferred lounge chair right by the stairs,” says Calacci, and would reserve it for him. Another luxury amenity at the pool is cabana dining, which can be arranged through the resort’s concierge.

2 - RIDE The resort’s 504 acres are breathtaking, but can make for a bit of a walk to get around the property. Villa guests have the added perk of complimentary transportation at a moment’s notice in the resort’s Bentley Flying Spur or Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV. “Getting home [from dinner] was so easy,” says Calacci.

3 - REPLENISH The private clubhouse at the Villas includes a fitness center, a pool, private cabanas and a restaurant, with staff eager to anticipate your every need. “When I wrapped up my workout, the staff always had my favorite protein shake ready and waiting for me,” says Calacci.

4 - FEAST Villa guests have full access to the resort’s acclaimed dining options as well as the ability to have any of the chefs cook them a personal meal in their villa. “I called upon Pelican Hill’s restaurant and catering staff to host clients in Andrea’s private dining room,” shares Calacci.

5 - LUXURIATE In addition to exquisitely appointed interiors, the villas have an optional 24-hour personal butler service upon request. “Housekeeping gladly accommodated my request for a new set of my own personal bedding linens and kept my villa in pristine condition at all times,” says Calacci.
