Modern Luxury Orange County released its Charity & Social Datebook in March which honored six distinguished philanthropists who were honored with the title “Altruists of the Year.” These six community leaders include Lauren Jolliffe of Free Wheelchair Mission, Rochelle Karr of the American Heart Association, Kathryn Seebold of CASA Orange County, Chris Simonsen of Orangewood Foundation, Nicole Suydam of Second Harvest Food Bank, and James Irvine Swinden of the Irvine Museum. On the evening of March 9, these honored altruists, their guests, and distinguished members of the Orange County community came together at Twila True in Newport Beach to celebrate the altruists and the release of the Orange County Charity & Social Datebook. The evening included gorgeous displays of Twila True jewelry, delicious gourmet catering by Above All Catering, and decadent desserts by Sugar Rush, while guests enjoyed sipping on cocktails by DesMaDre Tequila and wines from Gen7. A beautiful array of floral arrangements by Little Hill Floral Designs gave the already gorgeous location an elegant touch. To top off the evening, Group Publisher Jessica Cline and Editor-In-Chief Tina Borgatta said a few words about each altruist and presented them with a gift to thank them for their tireless efforts in the community.
