Editorial director, mother, wife, fashion maven, impeccable host—is there anything she doesn’t do?
Living and dressing artfully... is my style motto as founder and editorial director of Galerie magazine.
My passion for art and design goes back to… my college days. I studied art history at Barnard College, from the architecture of the ancient Greeks to the modern art work of Milton Avery, with a special love for the old masters.
After college… I worked at House Beautiful and Interiors magazines, and earned a degree from the New York School of Interior Design. Before launching my own publication, I also served as the home editor of DuJour magazine.
Married to… Hudson News’ James Cohen, with whom I have four children, and four magnificent homes in Manhattan; East Hampton, N.Y.; Alpine, N.J.; and Palm Beach.
My personal style… incorporates classic jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels with more go-to modern pieces from my friend Jennifer Miller and vintage Parisian couture by Leonard Paris with ready-to-wear pieces from Figue (available at Kirna Zabête at The Royal Poinciana Plaza). One of the most gracious hostesses in Palm Beach… I was recently named one of the America’s 100 best party hosts by The Salonniere.
