Partygoers gathered on a chilly winter night at Royal Palms Resort to mingle and toast the magazine’s first issue. T. Cook’s Executive Chef Paul McCabe and his team prepared an impeccable menu of small plates for the evening (those scallops!), which guests enjoyed while keeping cozy by the fireplaces indoors.

Seasonal arrangements by Cactus Flower Florists added to the festive decor, while KD Event Designs’ artfully arranged scenes (with help from Pow Wow furniture) sparked holiday ambience. Models styled in elegant fashions by Neiman Marcus served as excellent conversation-starters throughout the evening, especially one who held a certain jeweled clutch in the likeness of a parrot.
