The New Classics

Shop the Permanent Collection trunk show at Woodside’s Emily Joubert.

Permanent Collection’s earrings ($400) and a bangle ($5,000), based on 1960s designs by Mariah Nielson’s father, the late artist J.B. Blunk.

On June 7 (from 5 to 7PM), Woodside boutique Emily Joubert will host a trunk show for Mariah Nielson and Fanny Singer’s lifestyle brand, Permanent Collection, which revolves around a curated cadre of garments, accessories and objects meant to withstand the test of time.

“The designs will no doubt resonate with our customers, who share the same beliefs in buying fewer quality items that will be forever pieces,” says store proprietor Judy Sieber.

While the trunk show will feature all three Permanent Collection lines, the event marks the debut of the latest one, which includes a Japanese wool crepe dress with dolman sleeves and pockets ($700); handblown set of six glasses and a carafe, designed by Martino Gamper ($600); and sandals handmade by a second-generation shoemaker in Paris ($350). 3036 Woodside Road
