British mom Plum Sykes shows how she gives her kids the American experience out East.

“HOW COULD YOU not love Bridgehampton?” asks social swan and author Plum Sykes, who is spending the summer out East with her beautiful brood. Sykes’ latest comic murder mystery, Party Girls Die in Pearls: An Oxford Girl Mystery, spotlights the tony world of Oxford University, her alma mater. In between beach walks, we checked in with The New York Times best-selling author on where she is spending the season and her stylish seaside selects.

“For the kids, I go shopping at J.Crew.” Girls stretch denim jacket, $85, girls slide sneakers with pompoms, $68.75, both at J.Crew, 14 Main St, East Hampton

“Naturewise, I absolutely love a bit of waterskiing in Sag Harbor, and really getting a good look at the seashore and the amazing fish that you sometimes see in the ocean now.”

“I’m definitely going to go to Cayli Cavaco Reck’s pop-up beauty store. Her Instagram story is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, and I can’t wait to see her shop.” Moon Juice Beauty Dust, $38, Knockout Beauty, 2400 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton

“The thing I love most about my time in the Hamptons is long, long walks along the beach. There is nothing like the sound of the waves, the blue sky and the sun to really reinvigorate the spirit.”

“I am really looking forward to taking the children to The Lobster Roll on Montauk Highway. I think that will be the ultimate American experience for them.” 1980 Montauk Highway, Amagansett

“I also love shopping at Ralph Lauren.” 41 Jobs Lane, Southampton
