Feb. 14 and 15, you and your chicest ladies can toast your friendship during The St. Regis Washington, DC’s tea for your best gal pals. Palais de Thes teas will be steeping, and there will be tea sammies, homemade scones and an Aphrodisiac cocktail too. Don’t have a dinner date Feb. 14? Make the best of it at minibar by José Andrés with its singles-only dining experience. Truffle-Making Class
Feb. 9, get sweet at The Willard InterContinental Washington, DC’s delectable class. You’ll craft handmade truffles from fine cacao handpicked at the chocolatier’s farm in the Dominican Republic, then roasted in Maryland. Crisoire (a master chocolatier from SPAGnVOLA) will lead you through the specifics of making chocolate ganache, tempering chocolate and hand-rolling truffles. A last taste?
