A busy DC health reporter proves there’s always time for fun and fitness.

Scrutiny is Meaghan Mooney’s watchword. After all, she spends her days on live television as a beauty expert and lifestyle correspondent for CBS affiliate WUSA9. “I focus on physical activity, nutrition and a good skincare routine, all of which end up playing significant roles in my beauty philosophy and maintaining a healthy appearance,” she says. “I get into researching ingredients and, in some instances, turning to homeopathic remedies. So this job has made me more curious to read and research all hair and beauty-product ingredients.” The payoff daily? The camera doesn’t lie.
