The DC Publisher’s Dinner brought together Washington’s spirited gourmands for an exclusive taste of The Macallan.
THE PARTY DC magazine held an intimate gathering at Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons to toast a cool coterie of insiders and share the scoop on the publication. Hosted by Group Publisher Beth Cohen and sponsored by Edrington, the event served up tastings of The Macallan Scotch whisky paired with dinner. THE PEOPLE VIPs ranging from real estate execs to beauty pros learned about the nuances of the label from brand ambassador Marcus Fowler, whose passion was evident with every pour. On the guest list: Cristian Becker of CityCenterDC, Rick Hoffman of Coldwell Banker, Malik Husser of MGM National Harbor and Deb Levy, among others. BEST IN SHOW The true stunner of the evening was the exceptional menu, crafted by executive chef Drew Adams to complement each rare selection. There was wagyu beef tartare, charred octopus, a 16-ounce boneless rib-eye—and a bourbon chocolate bar teamed with The Macallan Reflexion for a sweet, sophisticated finish.
